Loose cannon [closed for officersidonis]

He felt more like an arbiter than a soldier sitting behind the formal trappings of his desk, caught in the perdition of this office.  His elbows rested casually on the flat surface, hands steepled together in a gesture of mild concentration.

“Officer Sidonis,” he intoned without pomp or circumstance, “I was referred to your captain after speaking with the Executor.  Your captain, in turn, put forth your name.  Councilor Sparatus and I have been concerned over certain favors being shown to turians by undisclosed C-Sec officers.  This racial favoritism is shameful behavior and it demeans our good name and our values.”

Adrien spread his hands, almost apologetically.  “Ordinarily, matters such as this would have called for a complementary authorized bureau to run an investigation for corruption, but you must know that our resources are sparing.  This must be internal, and, above all, discreet.  Am I clear, Officer?”
