“No, no one should envy any job like that.” She agreed with him. Even if it wasn’t the war, sometimes Hospitals can be a grim place. But not always. Claire took another sip of her wine before she looked up at him again. 

“It’s nice to meet you as well Adrien.” Claire said with a smile. “While I do work at the Huerta, Alamdea is where I work the most. And it isn’t getting the proper funding likes Huerta is.” It was truly a stupid situation. Why give more fundings to one hospital but not the other? Alamdea wasn’t a terrible hospital. Nearly the same rankings as Huerta.

          His facial plates illuminated by the amorphous glow of his omnitool, Victus swept a few short, jerking jabs across the interface.  “I’ll see what I can do.  This damned bureaucracy in place, as well as our strapped resources, keeps me from being as effective as I’d like.  But work like yours is important.  We need people back on their feet for this war, and people to defend it for." 

          Victus caught himself and managed to apologize with some grace.  "You’ll have to forgive me.  I’m hardly accustomed to the demeanor of a diplomat, and I haven’t the patience for it anyway.”
